FIBER GLASS PLASTIC OBTAINED FROM POLYESTER EPOXY BINDER BY THE CONTACT METHOD AT NORMAL TEMPERATURES

Abstract

Fiberglass plastic containing 60-65% resin was obtained from a polyester epoxy resin and benzoyl peroxide-dimethyl aniline - Co linoleate system. Polymerization of a polyester epoxy resin with isopropylbenzene hydroperoxide-Co linoleate or benzoyl peroxide-dimethyl aniline systems gave fiberglass plastics with inferior physical properties.
