Abstract

The book outlines fundamentals of aeromechanics, the structure and physical properties of the atmosphere, aerodynamic characteristics of wings, and modern methods of aerodynamic investigations. Chapters deal with the stability and controllability of flying vehicles (airplanes and rockets), and with methods of their aerodynamic and ballistic design.
