INCREASING THE RELIABILITY OF BINARY COUNTING SYSTEMS BY THE MODULO-N-CHECK,

Abstract

It is shown that the combination of redundancy with a modulo-n-check scheme insures greater reliability in counting systems, as compared to systems based on counting redundancy combined with selective circuits.
