THE TIME-INTERPOLATION OF METEOROLOGICAL ELEMENTS,

Abstract

The problem of interpolating the average monthly values of meteorological elements is considered. The analysis is conducted for air temperature and atmospheric humidity but the method can be applied to other meteorological elements which have a pronounced diurnal variation. Only the methods of linear interplation are considered. The root mean square error of linear interplation to the middle point is evaluated by the Drozdov-Shepelevskiy equation. (Author)
