STATIONARY TEMPERATURES DURING POROUS COOLING,

Abstract

The report describes the heat exchange between the coolant and the cooled body through a thick-walled porous tube or sphere. Final expressions are obtained for the equivalent coefficient of thermal conductivity of the porous body and for the relative temperature differential between the coolant and the hot body by solving the appropriate differential equations with boundary conditions.
