Results of Laboratory Studies on Triex-8 Dextrinated Lead Azide

Abstract

Laboratory tests including the 100C vacuum stability test, DTA, TGA, x-ray diffraction analysis, impact sensitivity and electrostatic spark sensitivity were conducted on two different samples of dextrinated lead azide. One of the two samples was 25 years old while the other was recently manufactured.
