INVESTIGATION OF ALLOYS OF ZIRCONIUM WITH NIOBIUM AND VANADIUM,

Abstract

The methods of microscopic and x-ray structural analysis, (micro)- hardness measurement, and high-temperature contactless thermal analysis were used to study the Nb-Zr-V ternary and Zr-Nb and Zr-V binary systems in the cast, annealed, homogenized, and quenched states. Diagrams are plotted and discussed for the 1000 and 10% (atomic) Nb sections of Zr-Nb-V, as well as a diagram of microhardnesses at 1000 and four microsection photographs. (Author)
