LOW-TEMPERATURE THERMODYNAMIC EFFECTS OF THE SPIN-LATTICE COUPLING IN SOLID ORTHO-HYDROGEN.

Abstract

A model of the coupled spin-phonon system in solid ortho-hydrogen at very low temperatures is given. This model is solved exactly. The results are found to be in qualitative agreement with experiment. (Author)
