GEOCEIVER: AN INTEGRATED DOPPLER GEODETIC RECEIVER.

Abstract

The name geoceiver is an abbreviation for Geodetic Receiver, chosen because the geoceiver promises to play a significant role in extending our geodetic knowledge. For the first time, a truly man-portable satellite tracking station will be available for the accurate mapping of relatively inaccessible or remote areas. This document describes the proposed geoceiver hardware design and operational characteristics. Geoceiver is based on the integrated doppler satellite measurement technique. (Author)
