Abstract

Kinetic studies on hemoproteins by flash photolysis were conducted and results were obtained on the following studies: Kinetics of the reaction with CO of reconstituted peroxidase; Kinetics of the reaction with CO of the reconstituted myoglobins; Rates of combination of the isolated chains of human hemoglobin with oxygen; Functional properties of a hemoglobin carrying heme only on alpha-chains; and Studies on hemerytrin.
