LAMINAR BOUNDARY LAYERS ON BODIES OF REVOLUTION: COMPUTER PROGRAMS AND VORTICITY BUDGETS

The incompressible laminar boundary layer equations are solved for flow about a sphere and an ellipsoid using a finite difference scheme. The effects of vortex stretching on the momentum and vorticity equations are studied.
