A DEVICE FOR ULTRASONIC MEASURING OF THE ELASTICITY MODULUS AND THE ORIENTATION OF MACROMOLECULES IN MOVING SYNTHETIC FIBERS,

Abstract

A device for ultrasonic measurement of the elasticity modulus and the orientation of macromolecules in moving synthetic threads, which contains ultrasonic emitters and receivers, an information analysis unit and an indicator, is characterized by the fact that, with the aim of increasing noise protection, the device has a drum with a thread groove, with two pairs of emitters -- receivers connected in parallel and set into the diametrically opposed sides of the drum. The pairs are switched into the electronic unit through contact rings on the axis of the drum and are kinematically fastened to the drive mechanism. (Author)
