Abstract
An investigation was made of the overall sensitivity of living organisms of radiation. The following topics are discussed: variations in sensitivity to radiation in different species, variations in sensitivity to radiation in different strains of the same species, age-related differences in sensitivity to radiation, sex-related differences in sensitivity to radiation, seasonal variations in sensitivity to radiation, and variations in individuals of the same species in sensitivity to radiation.
