EJECTOR WITH NOZZLE PERFORATED WITH LONGITUDINAL SLITS,

Abstract

The possibility is considered of changing conditions of 'cutoff' of a supersonic gas ejector by installing in the initial section of mixing chamber a cylindrical wall perforated with longitudinal slits. This wall is the continuation of the high-pressure nozzle. A diagram of ejector and results of experimental investigation of a series of ejectors with different permeability coefficients of perforated wall are given. Comparison with ejector of classical layout is made, showing that in a number of regimes characteristics of ejector can be improved several times. (Author)
