EXPERIMENTAL DEFORMATION AND FABRIC CHANGES OF PEKING HSIAO-T'ANG-SHAN DOLOMITE,

Abstract

The authors describe their study on experimental deformation and structural changes of minerals. Dolomite was selected for test samples. The dolomite was cut into slabs at random to show orientation of the optic axes. An Adams high-pressure vessel with confining pressure at 1130 kg/sq cm was used in the compression test. (Author)
