NOTE ON THE TEMPERATURE AND EVAPORATION OF SMALL DROPLETS,

Abstract

Calculations of the temperature of a stationary drop using ordinary heat- and mass-transfer equations predict that the wet-bulb depression of a nonventilated drop is greater than that of a ventilated drop. An effort to resolve this question is given. (Author)
