A DYNAMIC PROGRAMMING APPROACH FOR DETERMINING MINIMUM OPERATING COST OF AN ELECTRICAL GENERATING PLANT.
Abstract
The problem of determining the minimum operating cost of an electrical power generating plant composed of distinguishable pieces of generating equipment is considered. A dynamic programming model is formulated for solving such a problem, assuming that cost functions of the equipment are concave and deterministically known. (Author)
