LABORATORY MANUAL FOR DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF EXPERIMENTS,

Abstract

The purpose of this manual is to display the main guidelines for the design of experiments. It was motivated by the belief that research engineers and scientists of the laboratory will find this primer a useful introduction to the more sophisticated treatises on the subject, such as references (1), (2), (3), and (4). Thus, specific statistical techniques and more advanced designs will be deferred. Some of these are covered in appendices to this manual. (Author)
