A GENERAL ALGORITHM FOR THE INVESTIGATION OF PLASMA INSTABILITIES.

Abstract

A method is proposed which uses the expansion of all quantities into series of powers of time t. It is not difficult to give the general recurrence formulas, although dissipative effects and external forces are included simultaneously. The connection to the normal mode method and to statistics is given. This algorithm should be most powerful for the computation of the initial time behavior of a plasma system. (Author)
