STUDIES IN STEREOCHEMISTRY.
Abstract
A summary is given of research effort which involved a comparative study of sulfur and phosphorus, whose stereochemistry is as yet relatively unexplored. It includes the stereochemistry of the Grignard synthesis of sulfoxides and phosphine oxides, the stereomutation of sulfoxides, structural analysis by optical methods, and studies in conformational analysis.
