AUTOMATION AND CONTROL OF JET ENGINES,

Abstract

Principles are discussed of control of gas-turbine and ramjet aviation engines. Principal emphasis is placed on the peculiarities of the working process of various types of jet engines and their elements, which essentially affect the operation of the entire control system. There are examined methods of analytic and experimental investigation of control systems and design of regulating equipment. There is given a general idea of control of nuclear jet engines, principles of extremal control of an aircraft power plant and the application of statistical calculation methods, allowing consideration of the effect of random influences on control systems.
