A SURVEY OF SOME RECENT RESEARCH ON MAGNETO-PLASMA DIFFUSION AND THE IONOSPHERIC F2 LAYER.

Abstract

Recent work on magnetoplasma diffusion carried out at Queen Mary College, University of London and the University of Sheffield is reviewed, including reference to some other current work on meteor trains, the general problem of magnetoplasma diffusion, and the problem of diffusion in the ionospheric F2-layer.
