EARTH AND ATMOSPHERE SHINE BACKGROUNDS,

Abstract

The report reviews current knowledge of earth and atmosphere shine background radiation. Field measurements accomplished up to 1968 are summarized with references, quoted measurement data and effective spectral radiance values. The relation of the several parameters which contribute to the radiation emissions is briefly summarized. (Author)
