TESTS OF 500-WATT TUNGSTEN-HALOGEN LAMP,

Abstract

The report discusses a double-ended Quartz-Tube 500-Watt Tungsten-Halogen lamp with a luminous efficacy of 16.4 lumens per watt. Laboratory tests were conducted on prototype lamps of this line. These tests include horizontal polar intensity and vertical divergence of these lamps in eleven lenses, lanterns, and beacons, as well as filament dimensions, luminous output, and incandescence profile.
