Abstract

The book is a presentation of the author's experience in the field of polymer technology. A number of important considerations are noted for approaching the problems of designing, testing, and manufacturing structural parts from plastics designed for operation under load. The behavior of plastics in various structures and conditions is studied in a great number of practical examples. Design calculations using deformation characteristics of plastic materials are presented. (Author)
