Abstract

The report covers the launch at 0539 44.7, 12 June 1967, the 128 day flight, and the descent to the surface of Venus on 18 October 1967 of the 'Automatic interplanetary station Venus-4' and of some of the events leading up to the successful completion of the spacecraft's mission. A short general description of the spacecraft and on-board equipment is included.
