DISCHARGE OF GAS JETS INTO A SUPERSONIC STREAM FROM ORIFICES IN THE LATERAL SURFACE OF A BODY,

Abstract

An investigation was made of supersonic (M = 1, 2.62, 3) jets injected into a supersonic flow from orifices of different diameters in a flat plate. The geometric characteristics of the separated flow zone and the configuration of shocks ahead of and in a jet are studied. The boundary layer was turbulent. (Author)
