INSULATING THE SPOOLS OF HEAT-RESISTANT COILS,

Abstract

Previous studies had shown that the composite mica with heat-resistant binder was the best material for insulating steel spools of coils intended for operation at 500C; aluminum-phosphate binders were used for binding and glueing together the spools. Technical details of mica cutting, binder application, pressing, baking, etc., are given. (Author)
