DETERMINATION OF THE OXYGEN, HYDROGEN AND NITROGEN CONTENT IN ALLOYS OF THE Ni-Mg AND Ni-Mg-W SYSTEM,

Abstract

The determination of O, H, and N in 8-10 g. of alloys containing Mg is carried out by vacuum fusion at 1700C with addn. of 2-3 g. metallic Pb. The temp. of extn. is 1650C for Ni-Mg alloys and 1700C for Ni-Mg-W alloys. (Author)
