INSTRUMENTATION FOR STUDIES OF SOLAR EXTREME ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION.

Abstract

The report describes the design, development, construction, field servicing and flight of EUV monochromators employed in rocket experiments to obtain intensity measurements of solar radiation in the extreme ultraviolet and soft X-ray regions of the spectrum. It also describes the mechanical design, development, construction and use of the laboratory facilities used in the calibration of these rocket monochromators. (Author)
