PRELIMINARY DESCRIPTION OF A NEW SCHEME FOR A LOW DENSITY HYPERSONIC SHOCK WIND TUNNEL,

Abstract

A preliminary analysis of the phenomenon involved in the combination of a shock tube technique and a wind tunnel is presented. It appears that such a combination can be used for tests at high speed where it is necessary to reach thermodynamic equilibrium conditions in front of the models. (Author)
