ELECTRONIC COLOR DISPLAY.

Abstract

This equipment was developed to provide a highly flexible experimental tool to provide power displays with adaptive color techniques from two and three black and white color separations. The display may operate in either of two modes: NTSC monochrome or simultaneous 3-color separation inputs. In the latter mode, a color matrix was incorporated to manipulate the color being displayed for each individual color separation input. The results of the experiments revealed that the instrumentation employed provided a very useful technique for providing high quality color displays from a variety of photographic inputs. (Author)
