TASK ABILITY AND SUCCESSFUL AND EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP.

Abstract

The objectives of the study were threefold: to present evidence on the relationship between ability and effective leadership; to compare the relationship between task ability and successful leadership, versus task ability and effective leadership; and to test with fresh subjects the hypothesis suggested by previous results that leadership is more variable among persons of high ability than followership is among persons of low ability.
