DIFFERENCES IN ANTIGENIC SPECIFICITY AND IMMUNOGENICITY OF TISSUE TRANSPLANT.

Abstract

Antigenic differences among 4 clonal sublines of rat ascites hepatoma, all of which were derived from single cell of AH-64C cell line, were examined. A comparative study on the cytological or biological characteristics of these cell lines showed that chromosome constitution and sensitivity to chemical agent or X-ray were all different, although nearly 100% of isologous Donryu rats were killed when only 100,000 cells of each subline were transplanted intraperitoneally.
