CERTAIN PROBLEMS OF THE MECHANICS OF HIGH PARAMETERS,

Abstract

The paper is a continuation (Chapter 4) of a larger work on mechanical properties of materials, especially metals. In this chapter the authors show, using concrete examples, how problems can be formulated and solved in which the influence of parameters of the process is considered. There are six sections to the chapter. These are: (1) Flow of plastic material over surfaces, (2) Flow in conditions of heat exchange, (3) Calculation of forces of inertia in processes of flow, (4) Problem of maximum shear force, (5) Problem of a thick-walled cyclinder and (6) Spheric explosion in the ground.
