OPTIMAL THRESHOLD FOR A SYSTEM OF BINARY STORAGE WITH INDEPENDENT ERRORS,

Abstract

Discrete binary storage systems have a number of advantages over continuous storage systems, which make it possible to accomplish balanced summation and signal storage, practically unlimited in time, with the aid of bistable elements. Discrete binary storage is easily accomplished in a computer. The method we suggest for determining optimal discrete threshold is based on analysis of discrete binomial distribution. (Author)
