AEROGASDYNAMICS (A CONCISE TEXTBOOK),

Abstract

The book contains theoretical fundamentals of modern aero-and gas dynamics with applications to problems of rocket and aeronautical engineering. Equations of gas motion, motion of an ideal fluid, theory of shock waves, rarefied gas flows over wings and bodies of revolution, the fundamentals of hypersonic aerodynamics, and problems of friction drag and heat transfer at subsonic and supersonic speeds are considered. The problems of reaction nozzle jets, the aerodynamics of rarefied gases and magnetogasdynamics are treated briefly. (Author)
