PHYSICS OF MANY PARTICLE SYSTEMS.

Abstract

The research supported by the contract falls naturally into five main categories: Statistical mechanics and magnetism; Lattice vibrations; Energy conversion; Superconductivity; and, Many body effects in metals. The report summarizes the main trends of the research and the results that have been achieved in each of these five areas. Published papers and Ph.D theses in each area are listed.
