PUBLIC INVESTMENT IN GENERAL AVIATION AIRPORTS: AN APPLICATION OF COST BENEFIT ECONOMICS,
Abstract
The objective of the study was to design procedures to quantify the costs and benefits associated with general aviation airports. The existing airport at Quakertown, Pennsylvania was analyzed and the analysis applied to an evaluation of a proposed airport site at Hammonton, New Jersey. The report provides the theoretical basis for the procedures, describes the methods in detail, and discusses the application of cost-benefit techniques to Quakertown and Hammonton. (Author)
