Abstract

The paper is a preliminary report covering some of the employees' reactions prior to the closing of the Brooklyn and Portsmouth Naval Shipyards. Covered are the attitudes toward the announcement to close the Yards, the opposition to closing, and briefly, job satisfaction and personality. (Author)
