BULK MODULUS INVESTIGATION - HYDRAULIC FLUID STIFFNESS

Abstract

Isothermal secant bulk modulus data was obtained from simulated hydraulic systems and compared with referenced data. This study was made to compare the amount of fluid compressibility existing within a typical airplane hydraulic system and within a standard bench test system. Additional comparisons were made with published reference sources. (Author)
