INVESTIGATION OF A CLASS OF ELECTROMAGNETIC BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS.

Abstract

New methods for solving electromagnetic boundary value problems were developed and applied to a number of antenna, waveguide, phased array and other problems. Research into holographic and other imaging techniques were initiated and some useful processing techniques found. The problem of inverse scattering was investigated and the feasibility of numerically carrying out the analytical procedure for solving the inverse problem demonstrated. (Author)
