THE THREE DIMENSIONAL ATOM-OSCILLATOR IMPULSIVE COLLISION,

Abstract

In the process of formulating a general atom-molecule scattering theory based on the use of the impulse approximation, we made the simplest possible calculation to obtain an initial feeling for the efficacy of the method. This calculation is compared to an exact independent result on the same system and it agrees in all essentials. (Author)
