INTERPERSONAL PERCEPTION AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ADJUSTMENT OF GROUP MEMBERS.

Abstract

The results obtained in this series of studies indicate that the psychological adjustment of men in military units can be promoted by appropriate administrative measures. They show that these measures need not interfere with the primary mission of the units, for there is evidence that intergroup competition may increase the performance of small units. (Author)
