A NEW DESIGN TECHNIQUE OF SUB-OPTIMAL NON-LINEAR AUTOMATIC FEEDBACK CONTROL SYSTEMS USING SENSITIVITY FUNCTIONS,

Abstract

A new technique for designing a controller of a nonlinear system using sensitivity functions is developed in this thesis. This controller produces a suboptimal control, u, and state, x, which approximately minimizes a performance index, J, of quadratic form. Two types of designs are introduced, closed-loop and open-loop. (Author)
