WIND GUSTINESS IN THE LOWER LAYERS OF THE ATMOSPHERE,
Abstract
An attempt has been made to systematize atmospheric boundary layer gustiness data which have been collected from towers of different heights, located in different types of terrains in various parts of the world, measured by a large variety of instruments, and calculated by several methods which sometimes were based on different concepts of the meaning of the term 'gustiness.'
