AN/SSC-3 SHIPBOARD SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS SET.

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to provide the Naval Electronic Systems Command a summary of the technical progress. Instructions pertaining to the installation of modification kits were written, approved, and distributed in the form of AN/SSC-3 Maintenance Bulletins. Problem reports were received and action initiated to correct the problems. The mean-time-between-failure (MTBF) and the mean-time-to-repair (MTTR) are calculated and presented in this report. The information tabulated in the logs is still incomplete, and in many instances prevented a thorough analysis. (Author)
