DIELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF POLYPROPYLENE OXIDE AS A FUNCTION OF CONCENTRATION.

Abstract

The frequency of maximum loss was measured in methyl cyclohexane solutions ofpolypropylene oxide. It was found that the frequency of maximum loss variedwith weight % of polymer between 65 and 100%. Below 65% weight concentrationof polymer, the frequency of maximum loss was independent of concentration. It appears that in this lower concentration range it is related tointramolecular motions of the polymer.
