INFORMATION ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND EDUCATION....PRESCRIPTIONS FOR TECHNOLOGICAL CHANGE

Abstract

The paper considers two interdependent vehicles for producing and promoting technological change. One pertains to the realm of information handling -- systems for storing and retrieving information, and entrepreneurs for disseminating it and stimulating its scientific and economic exploitation. The other pertains to the role of education as a prime mover in creating a climate for change.
