ON SOME CONJECTURES OF P. WYNN CONCERNING THE EPSILON-ALGORITHM.

Abstract

By numerical counter-examples, two conjectures of P. Wynn concerning the application of the epsilon-algorithm to vectors and rectangular matrices are shown to be false. The matrix conjecture is found to be true, however, for a restricted class of matrices. (Author)
